This Privacy Policy explains how Charioteer Software ("we", "us") handles information on this website and in the methods-connector tool.

This website

This website is hosted on Wix. Wix may collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, to operate and secure the site. If you contact us through the website, we use the details you send only to reply to you. We do not sell personal information.

methods-connector (Google Drive and Google Sheets access)

methods-connector is a private tool used only by its owner to read and update the owner's own files in Google Drive and rows in Google Sheets. It is not offered to the public.

Data accessed. With the owner's permission, the tool accesses Google Drive files and folders, and Google Sheets spreadsheets, within folders the owner has configured, using the Google Drive and Google Sheets scopes. It does not access Gmail, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google data.

How data is used. Data is used only to carry out the reads and writes the owner requests through their AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic), under the owner's own Claude account. File content returned by the tool is passed to that assistant only to complete the owner's request.

Storage. The tool keeps no copy of file content. A Google access token may be cached for up to one hour, and the owner's sign-in credential is stored as an encrypted secret with the tool's hosting service (Cloudflare). Each change the tool makes is recorded as a row in the owner's own Google Sheet.

Sharing. Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone other than the owner's AI assistant as described above. No one other than the owner reads the data.

Limited Use. methods-connector's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access. The owner can remove the tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the tool's stored credential also stops all access.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
